Certified Professional Home Builder
Canton, GA - Northridge Residential, Inc., a home builder in Cherokee
County has been named a Certified Professional Home Builder (CPHB) by
The Housing Institute, Inc.
To attain this certification, Northridge Residential, Inc. agreed to
meet a variety of criteria, including having at least three years of
home building experience, offering an approved limited warranty and
mandatory binding arbitration, maintaining appropriate insurance coverage,
providing a total of 14 references from homeowners, trade contractors,
suppliers and financial institutions and passing a code certification
exam. We also agree to complete 16 hours of continuing education each
year to maintain this certification, which must be renewed annually.
Of the 1,800 builders belonging to the Greater Atlanta Home Builders
Association (GAHBA), less than 300 have the CPHB designation.
"We are proud to receive this important certification," said
Mark Siver. "It recognizes our long-standing commitment to solid
customer service and home building professionalism."
The state of Georgia currently has no licensing or requirements for
builders. The first of its kind in the State of Georgia, this voluntary
certification program was created to connect the home buying public
with certified Professional Home Builders who are dedicated to maintaining
the highest level of professionalism, customer service and homeowner
satisfaction. The program is administered by The Housing Institute,
Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the GAHBA and was created to promote
home building professionalism in the Atlanta area.
